There is always a combination of euphoria and excitement whenever I get a call from Moms Cannabis, to sample their latest wares. I knew, that this product would be better than the last. You learn these things in this business, there is always one grower, whose expertise and knowledge increase with each harvest, who has an encyclopedic memory of what worked and didn't work, that's Moms Cannabis for you.

So the collective manager sent me an e-mail to sample something nobody , other than he, has ever yet tasted. May I introduce you to Orange Ice! Let's get down to the nitty gritty.

Nice chunky buds. Not very large, but very uniform, medium size, and hefty weight. Tons of trichomes, it was like a frosted mini-wheat. Tons ad of red hairs, thus the name! While it is clear this is the famed “ice” cannabis, the red hairs and proliferation of them allow some license for the name.

The smell on the grind is pungent, aromatic, diesel/fuel. The smoke straight forward. Not unpleasant, but it makes you aware you are smoking something very unique and potent. So there was not much sweetness at all, it was a straight ahead smoke. As you know, I like to roll joints to give it a go. I did a bowl too to verify results. That was stunning and I detected floral aromas, but I was not coming from totally clean glass. I'l stick with my joint observation as truth (it's never let me down yet).

The effects are very, very fast and immediate. This is a night time med!!! You are not going to do much while on it, and I felt myself sink into whatever I was sitting on or watching, but not passively. This is social medicating at it's best.  Prepare to laugh!  What is it with Moms Cannabis products emphasizing the social? :)  It starts from the head, then goes through the body, quickly. I can easily say in 5-10 minutes this monstrosity has got you. This is a funny high though. It will definitely help you sleep but I've found munches to be very prevalent with this, so for me, this is a good appetite stimulator as well as a sleep aid. May I suggest ice cream before bed for the full effect of total rest? Thank you. Your mileage may vary.
