Got a call from J who said he was going to Mom's Cannabis. Mom's Cannabis said they had some products they wanted us to try out. I joined their collective and did the job only a weedblogger can do, sample the product and tell you all about it! I do this for the love :)

I sampled Ogre, a product described ; “Ogre has a strong body high and is very cerebral. These dense red and green buds shine with a deep, crystally structure. Very potent and very smooth, extra care had to go into growing this strain, which is why it is probably called ogre.”

First the aroma, no kidding it knocked me out. At first I was worried of spoilage, but that had nothing to do with it. It was simply stinky, in a good kind of way. Very densely packed and uber-sticky the product was well cured. The aromas off of this were described as earthy, strong grassy notes, pine, kerosene. It smelled like camping. Now it didn't taste like that at all!

Spark it, toke it, hold it, let it rinse across the tongue, and you get grass notes, some fruit, very smooth, a little minty. Interesting smoke, tastes nothing like it smells, in a good kind of way! I was pleasantly surprised and before you know it, myself and the two other testers were laughing and cracking jokes, one of the team did yoga, all the while trying to teach me yoga, and that's how it went until it was time for that nice restful indica sleep I really like. This is good time medicine.

I have to tell you , this is very strong medicine, like really very strong. And it is a sneaky little devil, it does not come on immediately, it kinda rolls to you, then it rolls you over! This is a great social medicine but it is also very very good for relaxing your gut, relieving minor pains and for insomnia. The strong body high earns this a high couch-lock rating. Hey I think we'll use that, CLR is Couch-Lock Rating. So the CLR is easily an 8 – 9.
